Albion defeated Arsenal 2-1 in the PGA Cup semi-final on Wednesday, coming from behind to claim victory at the American Express Elite Performance Centre.
Arsenal scored in the opening ten minutes, but Grace McEwen equalised at the start of the second half. Rhianna Fowler's corner found the defender in the box, and she scored from close range.
Brooke Burton scored the winning goal in the closing moments. Albion then went down to ten players after Nelly Guest received a second yellow card in the last few minutes but still finished strong.
It was the midfielder’s first goal since returning from an ACL injury last October, and she converted Isabella Ranger’s corner after Arsenal failed to clear. It completed a league and cup double for Albion, who will face Birmingham City in the final after they beat Sheffield United 2-0.
Head coach Dani Bowman said, “After the last result against us Arsenal turned up with high intensity, especially in the first half. It was not our best performance, but we stayed in the game which was the most important thing.
“In the second half, the momentum shifted and we scored two goals from set pieces.
“Those 90 minutes displayed the type of group this is - their resilience to stay in the game as well as their determination to push for the win.

“I am really pleased for them. They are the first WU19s to reach a PGA Cup final. The team have made history, and it is a great achievement for the club.
“We have another game on Sunday in the Sussex Challenge Cup against Saltdean United which will be another tough fixture. We will celebrate this win and then get ready for the next game.”
Dani was full of praise for matchwinner Burton.
“Brooke has a great attitude and leadership skills, and for her to score the winning goal caps off her return. It is something she will hopefully look back on and be proud of. I am really happy for her."
The final is on Saturday 25 April at Loughborough University Stadium.
