Our women's under-19s progressed to the quarter-finals of the National League Plate after they beat Norwich City 2-1 on Sunday.
A first half brace from Elliana Martin secured the win which will see Albion take on Gwalia United - based in Cardiff - in January.
Head coach Danielle Bowman said, “The girls were brilliant, we were not at our best but they showed a level of maturity that was needed against a senior team.
“Every game gives the team a new opportunity to learn and develop and it was a great challenge for them. We knew Norwich City would be tough, but we have learnt from previous fixtures against senior opponents to adapt to different styles of play.
“Elliana had a good game and contributed two fantastic goals. She worked hard on and off the ball for the team.”
Since returning from the international break, our under-19s have scored ten goals in two games, only conceding once.
