Our women’s under-19s sealed an emphatic 4-0 victory against Bristol City in the PGA League on Wednesday afternoon.
Patience Fergus opened the scoring in the first half and went on to complete her hat-trick in the second, with Libby Hester also getting on the scoresheet.
Women's under-19s head coach Danielle Bowman said, " I was pleased with the types of goals we were scoring, but  we were also pleased with the clean sheet because we have probably conceded some preventable goals this season.
" Bristol posed us challenges and I think the girls were set up well and  and they understood the game plan and what we wanted out of it.  That's really pleasing for us, that the girls are listening to the information and then taking it on board during the game.
"Patience (Fergus) has been training really well and scoring and in training, we know her capability.
"We know the threat that she causes backlines and she's a natural finisher. She knows where the goal is so, I think it's just helping her develop further."
The former Albion captain looks ahead to her under-19s next fixture against Fulham on Sunday in the Women's National League Cup.
She continued, " We want to build on it again this weekend because we want to get the win and progress out of our group into the next stage of the cup.
"I think Fulham are a very well organised team and they're performing very well in the league.  We've watched them and we've seen how they like to play - they will be a challenge for our girls."
