We're delighted to confirm that defender Manuela Vanegas has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
Head coach Arturo Ruiz said, "This is great news for Manuela and for Brighton.
"Since I came to the club I have been impressed with Manuela's work-rate, commitment to what we are trying to achieve and her willingness to become an even better player.
"I'm looking forward to working with her in the future."

The 25-year-old Colombia international joined the club in the summer of 2025 from Real Sociedad, having previously played for Formas Intimas, Envigado FC, Atlético Huila, RCD Espanyol, and Independiente Medellin.
Manuela has established herself in the Albion defence and was part of the team which played in last season's FA Cup final at Wembley. She has made 28 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals, including one in our memorable 3-2 win against Liverpool in the Adobe FA Cup semi-final.
She made her international debut in 2018 and played for Colombia at the World Cup in 2023.
