We are pleased to confirm the signing of striker Emily Murphy from Newcastle United, subject to the usual regulatory processes.
The 23-year-old made 37 appearances for the Magpies, scoring nine goals and creating 13 assists.
Women’s first team head coach Dario Vidosic said, “Emily has shown that she has both a good eye for goal and the ability to provide for her teammates.
“She had a taste of WSL football with Chelsea before then, so she knows the standards that we will be demanding from her.
“Emily also adds good quality to an area we needed to strengthen, so I am excited to work with her.”
The forward came through the ranks with Chelsea Women, where she made her first-team debut in 2019.
She joined Newcastle in January 2025, helping them to a sixth place finish in WSL2 last season.
Having been capped by England at youth level, she opted to represent the Republic of Ireland at senior level. She has 18 caps to her name.
