Our womenâs under-19s were beaten 2-0 by Bristol City at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre on Wednesday.
Women's under-19 head coach Danielle Bowman said, "It was a frustrating result. I think we had opportunities to get something out of the game, but that's about being consistent with our actions.
"We're disappointed that we conceded from a set play, but these are all lessons that the girls will learn from.
"That's what development football is all about, you have a very disappointed team that wanted to win the game, which is great, but we'll just need to learn from this."
Albion had opportunities of their own through Tahirah Heron, Olivia Johnson, and Eliana Martin.
"I think that was the positive thing, we were creating the chances," Bowman continued. "It's just that execution of our finishing.
"We just need to look at the bigger picture, we're still young in our journey. There have been a lot of new faces in this group this season and we are a young group that's always learning.
"The physical side and the management of the game are just the little things that they all need to learn from, and they'll develop that over the season."
The Albion youngsters sealed a 6-0 victory against London City Lionesses in their opening league game of the season but fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat on the road to Chelsea the following week.
"We're trying to play the way the club plays football and implement our philosophy. That's building, it's just that end product now that we need to execute, which we know will come.
"We can't fault the girls, they stuck to the game plan, and they knew what the task was. I think it's now just about the execution, it's frustrating, but we still have to remember we're only three games into the season."
