Albion head into their final fixture before the winter break in high spirits, buoyed by a crucial win over London City Lionesses last Sunday followed by a positive week on the training ground.
With confidence growing and preparations complete, the squad is determined to give everything against champions Chelsea on Sunday, according to captain Maisie Symonds.
âOur game against London City was a win at all costs," she said. "We knew that before we went on international break and everyone was focused because we wanted to get that first away win.
"I know that our fans had been travelling up and down the country supporting us, and they deserved something to cheer. The way that we stuck at it â I was really, really proud of the girls.â
Sunday's visitors to the Broadfield Stadium suffered their first WSL loss since May 2024 against Everton last Sunday. Symonds says the squad's confidence and mentality has always remained high this season no matter the opponent.
âWeâll give it absolutely everything," she added. "I know that they (Chelsea) had a game midweek, so we have that little edge in terms of minutes. Weâve had a full week to prepare, and weâve always seen them as a team that we can beat.
"Weâve done very well against them before and whoever weâve come up against this season, even in the games weâve lost, weâve only lost by a goal. So, weâve been competitive in every game and we go into every match believing that weâre going to win.
âThat will be no different this weekend. No matter whoâs on the pitch it doesnât matter to us - weâre going to try and win.â
