Dario Vidosic has been nominated for the Women’s Super League Manager of the Month for October.
In the league, Albion picked up two wins and a draw – a 4-2 victory over Aston Villa, a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace and a 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
Those results saw Albion head into the October international break in fourth in the WSL, just three points off top spot.
Also nominated for the award are Sonia Bompastor, whose Chelsea team won both of their league games, and Manchester City’s Gareth Taylor, who oversaw three wins out of three.
In their appraisal of Vidosic, the WSL said, ‘Brighton have made quite the turnaround from their ninth place finish last season as they look to progress into the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying positions. Dario Vidosic’s team collected seven points from a possible nine, which leaves them in fourth and level on points with third place Manchester United.’
