Albion begin their Women's Subway League Cup campaign this evening as they take on Portsmouth at Westleigh Park, kick-off 7pm.
Team news
Speaking in his pre-match interview on Tuesday, head coach Dario Vidosic said, "We'll make some rotations and give other girls an opportunity. Some of our younger girls will also have an opportunity.
"They've been training well and been performing well for the under-19s - they've earned it."
Dario's thoughts
On our first WSL win of the season against West Ham, " It's always important to get that win and you get confidence not just with performance and individual performances, but you also get it when the performance compliments the result."
On Portsmouth, "They're defensively well organised and good in transition. They play a little bit more direct so we have to be ready to win our duels.
"We know that we're going to have to be ready in all phases of the game. We want to play our football and we want to try to dominate the game."
Tournament format
21 teams from across the Women’s Super League and WSL2 enter the competition at the group stage, which is split into a northern and southern section.
