Loan signing Michelle Agyemangâs quality has caught the eye of womenâs first-team head coach Dario Vidosic.
With us for the season from Arsenal, the 18-year-old scored her first Albion goal in the 4-2 win against Aston Villa in the WSL last weekend.
âMichelle has the potential to be very good,â the Australian said. âHer talent is undeniable and she's still young, she's still learning. She's also got some fantastic girls on the team, especially in that attacking front line, that she can learn off every day.
âHer and Nikita [Parris] came in a little bit late [in the transfer window]. Jelena Cankovic as well â she'd probably have come on in games a little bit earlier but sheâs had a couple of niggles and a sickness that held her back a bit.
âWe're excited about them all and we know the qualities that they can bring. They're trying to get up to speed as quickly as possible, get the understanding that the other girls have had with those extra six weeks of pre-season.â
Albion take on Crystal Palace in the WSL on Sunday, as they look to make it three wins from four league games.
While delighted with performances, results and goals scored, Dario still sees a lot of room for improvement in his team.
Dario Vidosic speaks to the media ahead of Brighton's visit to Crystal Palace in the WSL.
âI am really pleased with the steps that we've taken already, both with the ball and without the ball. It's a constant process.
âWe're looking to try to be perfect in each phase of play, every moment of play, but thereâs still a long way to go.
âWe wanted to get as many people contributing goals and getting them in dangerous positions. You've even seen Poppy [Pattinson] from left-back contributing with assists inside the box, which is something that we're working on. It's really nice to see it start to take shape, and while we're still a way off from where we want to be, every week that we get, we get better and better.â
