Dario Vidosic says his Albion squad wonât fear anyone in the WSL this season.
The 37-year-old head coach joined last week from Australian club Melbourne City on a three-year contract and believes his experiences as a player and then coach can really benefit his new club.
He said, âI understand football a great deal. I've been a player and now Iâve been on the other side as a coach.
âFor me, itâs important you donât get too high, and you never want to get too low. You always try to stay in the middle, focus on what you need to do and try to prepare as best as possible.â
The new Albion coach wants his squad to control each game theyâll play next season regardless of their opponents.
âThe simple word to use is to âdominateâ. We want to dominate the ball, dominate without the ball, play in the opponent's half as much as possible, create as many goal-scoring chances as we can and win the ball back quickly.
âI like to play a very attacking brand, but we will still need to defend when we have the ball.
âWe know weâll play against some very good teams and some very good players in the WSL, but Iâve never feared results.
âWhatever club we play their badge is almost a blank. Weâll look to play our way of football. It doesn't really matter who that's against.
âWe need to trust what we're doing and what I believe in. I'm a firm believer in the football that my teams play, and we won't go away from that.â
