Two Albion players, Babis Kostoulas and summer recruit Zadok Yohanna, are in the top 100 in the latest rankings for European footballâs prestigious Goldenboy award.
Kostoulas, 19, came to the club last summer and made 25 appearances across all competitions including a spectacular goal of month nomination when he equalised against Bournemouth at the Amex in January with an injury-time bicycle kick.Â
Yohanna, 19, joined Albion this summer from Swedish club AIK Stockholm. The young Nigerian scored five goals and contributed four assists in 18 games for AIK before heading to Brighton.
Goldenboy is recognised across the continentâs top leagues as the most prestigious accolade players aged 21 or under can win.
Past winners include Lamine Yamal and Jude Bellingham, who are two of the nine players who have won the award who have played in this summerâs World Cup.Â
In the latest top 100 Babis is ranked 83rd and Yohanna 80th.Â
