Arturo Ruiz believes Albion are ‘in a very good moment’ after coming from behind to beat Crystal Palace and move into the top six in the WSL.
Second-half goals from Caitlin Hayes and Sophie Peskett cancelled out Annabel Blanchard’s opener in a 2-1 win as Albion secured three successive home league wins for the first time in five years.
“I think that these three wins in a row will be key for the rest of the season and we are in a very good moment," said Ruiz.
"And I think that we are showing what we want to do in terms of our energy, and I think that the first half was very good even though we conceded a goal.
“The result didn't show at all what happened in the first half. And then in the second half, at least we got what we definitely deserved, which is three really important points for us.

Ruiz agreed with player of the match Manuela Vanegas that the squad’s togetherness was a big factor in Albion’s comeback.
“It's a team win. All the players deserve today. I don't think that there's one player that was much better than the others, and that's the best thing that a team can have.
“I think that the three points today will make us very strong. As I always say, we play for the fans, we play for our people, and the three points are for them because they always support us in the best way.”
