Howell's late penalty snatches win at Forest

Harry Howell’s penalty snatched all three points for our men's under-21s against Nottingham Forest on Friday in Premier League 2.
Having waited 75 minutes for the first shot on target of the game, a Forest red card was capitalised on by Albion with an 88th-minute winner.
The best opportunity of the match prior to the goal fell the way of Jack Perkins after 14 minutes when the ball was pulled back to him in the Albion box, but his effort deflected off Ruairi McConville, catching the outside of the post and going behind for a corner.

Kyle McAdam then flashed a drive across the face of the Albion goal before Louis Flower’s shot from just inside the area was blocked behind for a corner.
Forest substitute Archie Whitehall’s thumped an effort from 20 yards was deflected over, before Hugo Fisher denied Ben Perry when he looked to find the bottom right corner.
A second yellow for Reds’ defender Finley Back for tripping Caylan Vickers on the flank presented Albion with a chance to snatch all three points.

Caylan Vickers curled a shot over after cutting into the box before Jamie Mullins mistimed his header after connecting with Marcus Ifill’s cross on the edge of the six-yard box.
Albion's late pressure told when Josh Duffus was flattened by Perry in the box challenging for possession.
The penalty was taken - and taken well - by Howell, whose slow run-up was followed by an unerring finish into the bottom right corner, his third successful penalty of the week.
