“I've been around under-21s football for the last three years now, so I know it well. It's important for me to try and get goals and assists and to perform well so that when my chance comes to play first-team football, I'm ready, fit and good to go.
“I think from my numbers this season I've put a good case forward. I'm just focusing on each game and trying to maximize any time I'm on the pitch, trying to score goals, get assists, create for the team and show why someone out there should take me.”
The Australian has been a part of an under-21s team that have enjoyed a terrific start to the campaign, wining 13 of their 20 games across six different competitions.

“It's quite a close group. When we get on the pitch we seem to gel and we're a threat going forward with a lot of the attacking players.
“We've been scoring a lot of goals. That came together against Palace when we won 10-0. That showed we've got a threat going forward but we've been solid defensively. We’ve come away with lots of points and it's just been a really successful start to the season.”
