Our men’s under-18s moved top of Premier League South on Saturday after they stunned Leicester City 4-0 on Saturday.
Ronnie Gorman put Albion in front after just four minutes when he rolled the ball home from close range from Aiden West’s pass.
West provided again five minutes before half-time, when his pinpoint pass along the edge of the box found Shane Nti who curled in.
A stunning team move that started with keeper Alfie Mansell was rounded off by Joe Belmont nine minutes after the restart, before Belmont got his second late on with a side-footed finish from 12 yards.
Men's under-18s head coach Inigo Calderon said, “It was a really good performance against a Leicester team that was in a good moment. We talked before the game about trying not to concede too many chances, as they have scored a lot of goals. We were the top two teams in terms of scoring goals in the league.
“I think a lot of our players have raised their level. We keep improving. The fact that we kept the first clean sheet of the season against one of the best teams offensively until now proves that."
