Bjorn Hamberg's team are eighth in Premier League South after their defeat to the Blues. đź“· by Paul Hazlewood.
Our men’s under-18s slipped to a 4-0 defeat to Chelsea in Premier League South on Saturday.
Despite the defeat, Bjorn Hamberg was upbeat about his team’s efforts.
“It’s a strange feeling, as it was our best performance this season despite the defeat," he said.
“We played a top team away from home, and made it really uncomfortable for them. We played really aggressively and created loads of opportunities running at their back line.
“From a team performance I couldn’t ask for more. If we play that game again I think we would take at least one point.
“We need to dust off the disappointment that we feel and react against Arsenal next week.”
