Our men’s under-18s were beaten 2-0 by West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Harry French put West Brom in front after four minutes, before Ryan Colesby added another 12 minutes later.
Under-18s head coach Bjorn Hamberg said, “It was a tough afternoon against a strong side. We were punished with two quick goals against us, where we definitely could have done better.
“We created some opportunities to score, but over 90 minutes we didn’t create enough high-quality chances.
“We need to bounce back when we take on QPR on Tuesday in the FA Youth Cup. We will put in the physical effort on the training pitch to be ready.”
The QPR game is at their training ground, kick-off 7pm.
