Our men’s under-18s moved up to fourth in Premier League South after a Henry Kasvosve brace helped us to a 3-1 win over Reading on Saturday.
Having hit the post in the build-up, Albion took the lead after 25 minutes. Bjorn Hamberg’s team recycled the ball after the Royals half cleared, with Kasvosve first to the ball in the box to fire past Jacob Borgnis.
We doubled our advantage 11 minutes later when Bailey Palmer won the ball just outside Reading’s box and played it to Jacob Parsons on the edge of the six-yard area. He took a touch, before rolling the ball into the bottom right corner.

The Royals got a goal back on the hour thanks to T’Shay St-Louis, but Albion restored their two-goal cushion late on as Kasvosve showed a cool head from the penalty spot to tuck home.
Hamberg said, “It was good to back up the win against Aston Villa with another three points at home. We played a strong first half and moved the ball well, causing a good Reading team some problems.
"In the second half we started strongly and could have got a third goal, but we missed a penalty which gave Reading an opportunity to get back into the game.

"They scored and that changed the momentum a bit, but our substitutes came on and won us the game, winning another penalty which allowed us to kill the game off.
“It was really nice to see a lot of the boys playing with a lot of confidence and it was a special moment to see Liam Doyle back in goal after having a long rehab off the pitch. A big credit goes to everyone that helped him during his comeback."
