Our men’s under-18s secured their first win of the Premier League South season when they beat Norwich City 5-2 at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre on Saturday.
Adam Brett put Albion in front after 19 minutes before Jacob Parsons fired in from the penalty spot just after the restart.
Finlay Corke pulled one back for the visitors, before Liam Crutchett, Jesse Middleton and Billy-Ray Cullinane all scored to secure Albion a comfortable victory.
Men’s under-18s head coach Bjorn Hamberg said, “It’s a great feeling to get the first win of the season. The boys have been working hard for this and it leaves us with a good feeling. It means an end of this first block of fixtures with a win before the international break.
“All of the players, apart from the injured ones of course, have been involved in some capacity this week. After two tough away trips it was great score some goals and to celebrate together in the dressing room.”
