Promise David joins on loan from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise
Canada international joins from Belgian side.

We are pleased to confirm the signing of Promise David from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on a season-long loan, subject to completion of the necessary regulatory processes.
The deal includes an obligation to buy should certain criteria be met.
Sporting director Mike Cave said, “Promise is someone we have been watching for some time, he is an out-and-out striker who possesses outstanding physical attributes and a track record of scoring goals.
“His experience at international level and in European competition will hopefully prove valuable this season.

The Canada international, who goes by the nickname Tobi, has enjoyed a terrific rise so far in his career.
Having played youth football in his homeland, Croatia and the USA, he joined Valletta in the Maltese Premier League in 2022 before heading to another Maltese club Sirens.
A move to Nomme Kalju in Estonia followed, where his 30 league goals in 44 first-team appearances drew the attention of RUSG.

He signed for the Belgian Pro League side in 2024 and scored 24 goals as they won their first league title in 90 years.
In total he made 82 appearances for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, scoring 41 goals and providing nine assists.
Promise has represented his country on 14 occasions, scoring four goals, including a goal at the summer’s World Cup.
