We are pleased to confirm the signing of Pascal Struijk from Leeds United, for undisclosed terms.
The defender has signed a five-year contract, having made 196 appearances for the Whites.
Men’s first team head coach Fabian Hurzeler said, “Pascal is exactly the sort of profile we wanted to add to the squad this summer, in that he’s got good Premier League experience and has his peak years ahead of him.
“He really showcased what he’s capable of last season - great defensive actions while comfortable on the ball - with his style well suited to ours.
“He is also a leader, having worn the captain’s armband at times for Leeds last season. He is an excellent addition to the group and I am looking forward to working with him.”
The 26-year-old joined Leeds from Ajax in 2018, progressing through their academy before making his first team debut in December 2019.
He has enjoyed two promotions from the Championship with Leeds, before helping them to a 14th place finish in the Premier League last season, as well as the FA Cup semi-finals.
Pascal has also represented the Netherlands at youth level.
