Diego Gomez had a terrific night at Oakwell back in September, scoring four goals. đ¸ by James Boardman.
Diego Gomezâs five goals have seen him finish as the Carabao Cupâs top goalscorer for the 2025/26 season.
The Paraguay international scored four of those strikes in a 6-0 win over Barnsley, having also scored in the previous round against Oxford United.
His League Cup tally makes up half his ten goals in all competitions this campaign, having also recently made his 50th appearance for Albion.
Albion were knocked out in the fourth round of this seasonâs League Cup by eventual beaten finalists Arsenal, losing 2-0 at the Emirates.
