Carlos Baleba put in a man of the match performance as Cameroon beat South Africa to reach the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
Having finished their group stage with wins over Gabon and Mozambique, as well as a draw with Ivory Coast, the Indomitable Lions claimed a 2-1 win over South Africa.
Goals from Junior Tchamadeu and Christian Kofane put Cameroon in control before a late goal by Evidence Makgopa provided some drama in the final stages.
Carlos has started in all of his countryâs games, and they now face hosts Morocco in Rabat on Friday.
Should Cameroon go onto win the competition it will be the first time they have lifted the trophy since 2017.
