Late goals made and ruined weekends in equal measure for some our players out on loan at the weekend.
In the case of Amario Cozier-Duberry, it was certainly a positive. The winger made it goals in back-to-back games as he netted Bolton’s 94th minute equaliser at Leyton Orient with a stunning 25 yard drive into the top corner. He’s now scored twice and assisted three times in his eight League One appearances for the Trotters.
Coventry City scored even later as Haji Wright netted in the sixth minute of second-half stoppage time to equalise against Norwich City. Carl Rushworth continued his run in goal for Frank Lampard’s team.
Winning the late show contest of this loan report goes to Hull City. Malick Yalcouye helped put Swansea 1-0 up against the Tigers when he teed up Zan Vipotnik in the first half and probably thought it was job done when he was substituted off after 71 minutes with the score at 2-1. But Hull responded when Jon Egan grabbed a 97th-minute equaliser.
There was no late drama at Oakwell as Caylan Vickers teed up Barnsley’s opener in their 3-2 win over Reading. Kamari Doyle came on for the final 20 minutes for the Royals, with all the goals scored before the 66th minute.
In the Premier League, Facundo Buonanotte made his first Chelsea start in a 2-2 draw with Brentford, before coming off as part of a half-time triple change.
Jess Pegram played the first hour of Rangers’ 4-1 win at Partick Thistle as they moved a point clear at the top of the SWPL 1 table.

Charlie Penman suffered his first defeat as an Aldershot player when they were beaten 2-0 by National League high-flyers Carlisle United.
Heading overseas, Matt O’Riley enjoyed a winning start to life with Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille. The Danish midfielder came on at the beginning of the second half of L’OM’s 4-0 win over Lorient.
Melina Loeck kept a clean sheet as Hammarby beat Linkoping 3-0 to put them four points clear at the top of the Allsvenskan Women table.
Andrew Moran made his first appearance for LAFC as a substitute, as they beat San Jose Earthquakes 4-2, which sees them sit fifth in Western Conference after 27 games of the MLS season.
Evan Ferguson was substituted at half-time as Roma suffered their first defeat of the campaign, 1-0 to Torino.
Ibrahim Osman came on for the final minute of Auxerre’s 2-1 defeat to Monaco – their third consecutive league defeat of the season. Meanwhile, Yoon Doyoung came on for the final 15 minutes of Excelsior’s 1-0 defeat to Sparta Rotterdam in the Eredivisie.
The unused substitutes this week were Olivia Johnson (Bristol City Women), Libby Bance (Birmingham City Women), James Beadle and Eiran Cashin (Birmingham City) and Igor Julio (West Ham).
