Albion signed 11 players during the summer transfer window, while there were 11 permanent departures and 18 players leaving on loan.
Hereâs the lowdown on all the ins and outs during a busy window.
Menâs first team signings and departures
We announced in April that Tommy Watson would be joining on a four-year deal from Sunderland once the 2024/25 season was completed. He had the perfect send off from the Black Cats, scoring the goal in the Championship play-off final that confirmed their place back in the top-flight.
Italy international Diego Coppola was next, joining us from Hellas Verona, before Yoon Doyoung from Daejeon Hana Citizen, Babis Kostoulas from Olympiacos and Olivier Boscagli â following his release from PSV Eindhoven â were confirmed as Albion players at the beginning of July, all on deals until 2030.
Our menâs incomings were concluded on 5 July, when Maxim De Cuyper arrived from Club Brugge, signing a five-year deal.

Simon Adingra left after two years at the Amex, signing on a permanent deal for newly promoted Sunderland, while Pervis Estupinan completed a move to AC Milan after joining us 2022. The Ecuadorian was a key player in the team that finished sixth in the Premier League and helping us qualify for Europe for the first time.
Goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen signed for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise at the end of July with striker Abdallah Sima moving to Lens on 29 August.

There were two final departures on deadline day as Julio Enciso joined Barco at Strasbourg, and Tariq Lamptey made the move to Fiorentina, having spent five-and-a-half years with Albion. His time here was disrupted by injury, but the defender still made 122 appearances and became a Ghana international in September 2022.
Menâs under-21 signings and departures
Shannon Ruth welcomed two new goalkeepers in Michael Dike from Treaty United in the Republic of Ireland and Sweden youth international Nils Ramming signed from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Academy graduate Ben Barclay returned to the club to become our over-age player and mentor in the under-21s, having spent last season with Carlisle United. Defender Sean Keogh joined us from Dundalk with Kofi Shaw signing from Bristol Rovers. The 18-year-old made 19 first team appearances for the Gas, having also spent time out on loan in the National League with Yeovil Town.
Odel Offiah made his Premier League debut in April 2023. đˇ by Paul Hazlewood.
Odel Offiah called time on his eight years with Albion, joining Preston North End. The defender made ten first-team appearances for Albion, including six in the Premier League, while Jamie Mullins signed for Wycombe Wanderers.
