Charlie Tasker has joined League Two new boys Rochdale on a season-long loan.
Sporting director Mike Cave said, “We’ve been pleased with the progress Charlie has made, coming through the academy and he is another of the players who has had some good exposure in the first-team environment.
“Now it’s time for him to be playing regularly, at senior level, and this loan gives him the opportunity. We wish him well for the season ahead, and Gordon Greer and loans team will be there to support and monitor his progress.”
Charlie has been with Albion since the age of six, progressing through the academy, before making his first team debut in the League Cup last season.
The defender will link up with and play alongside his Albion teammate Nils Ramming, who is also on loan with Rochdale.
