Senior men's team action
Yasin Ayari started both of Sweden’s games during the break, scoring and assisting against Slovenia in their 2-2 draw, before losing 2-0 to Kosovo. He has now made 14 senior appearances for his country.
Carlos Baleba wasn't in the squad for Cameroon’s 3-0 win over Eswatini, before starting in their 1-0 defeat to Cape Verde.
Maxim De Cuyper scored and assisted in Belgium’s 6-0 win against Liechtenstein before playing 70 minutes in their win over against Kazakhstan, which also finished 6-0 to the Red Devils.
The Republic of Ireland drew 2-2 with Hungary, in which Evan Ferguson pulled one back to make 2-1, before Swansea City forward Adam Idah equalised in the 90th minute. The out on loan striker added another goal to his tally in the following game, as they were beaten 2-1 by Armenia.
Paraguay played out a goalless draw against Ecuador before defeating Peru 1-0, with Diego Gomez starting both games in midfield as La Albirroja confirmed their spot at next year's World Cup.
Ferdi Kadioglu came on for the final ten minutes of Türkiye’s 3-2 win over Georgia, before being substituted on for the last half an hour of their 6-0 loss to Spain.
Yankuba Minteh scored and assisted in The Gambia’s 3-1 win over Kenya, teeing up Sheriff Sinyan after 12 minutes before netting himself 14 minutes later. He came on for the final half an hour of their 2-0 win over Burundi.
Kaoru Mitoma started in Japan’s goalless draw with Mexico before playing the last 30 minutes of their 2-0 defeat to the USA.
Matt O’Riley was an unused substitute in Denmark’s goalless draw with Scotland, although he came on in the final stages of his country’s 3-0 win over Greece.
Bart Verbruggen and Jan Paul van Hecke both started in the Netherlands’ 1-1 draw with Poland, before Bart started their 3-2 win against Lithuania. Jan Paul was an unused substitute.
Youth international action
Isaiah Alakiu made his Philippines under-23 debut in their 2-1 defeat to Syria Under-23s, before making his first start in their 1-0 win over Tajikistan under-23s.
Brajan Gruda played the first 45 minutes of Germany under-21s’ 2-0 win over Albania, before providing the assist for the fourth goal in his country's 5-0 win over Latvia.
England under-21s played their first game since winning the Under-21 Euros in the summer, as they defeated Kazakhstan 2-0. James Beadle and Jack Hinshelwood both started, while Tommy Watson was introduced as a second half substitute for his under-21 debut.
Mark O’Mahony and Jacob Slater both started in the Republic of Ireland Under-21s’ come-from-behind victory over Moldova, as they won 2-1, before both were unused subs in their 1-0 win over Andorra. Meanwhile, Henry Kasvosve came on for the final 20 minutes of Wales Under-20s' 2-2 draw with Austria.

Harry Howell and Freddie Simmonds started for England Under-18s in 3-1 and 3-2 wins against Uzbekistan and Canada, while they were subbed on during the 4-1 win over Morrocco.
Nils Ramming started in Sweden Under-19s’ 4-2 defeat to Norway, before being an unused substitute in their 1-1 draw with Romania.
Fraser Widdop played in all three of England Under-17s’ wins over Venezuela, Israel and Germany, the later of which finished 7-5 the Young Lions.
