Coventry City continued their unbelievable goal-scoring run with a sensational 7-1 win over QPR on Saturday.

In the third tier, Tom Hamer’s own goal in the 97th minute earned Bolton a point after they conceded a first- minute goal at home to Lincoln City. Amario Cozier-Duberry once again played the full game for Bolton, continuing his great start to life in Lancashire.
Mark O’Mahony led the line for Reading as they drew 2-2 with Wycombe Wanderers – Kamari Doyle came off the bench for the Royals for the final ten minutes - but Barnsley suffered their first defeat of the League One season as they were beaten 2-0 by Wimbledon. Caylan Vickers had scored the winner in their midweek victory over Peterborough, to take his tally to two league goals for the campaign.
It was a mixed weekend in National League South for Matthew Hayden, who won the Man of the Match award in Havant & Waterlooville's 2-1 home defeat to Hungerford Town.
In France, Ibrahim Osman grabbed another assist for Auxerre when he teed up Lassine Sinayoko’s equaliser. Auxerre would have a man sent off just before half-time though and go down 3-1 away to Nice.
Yoon Doyoung grabbed his first goal for Excelsior, although it came in a 4-1 defeat to Utrecht.
Finally, Evan Ferguson started in Roma’s opening Serie A game of the season as they beat Bologna 1-0. The Irishman saw an early effort saved before heading wide in what was new head coach Gian Piero Gasperini’s first match in charge.
