On loan midfielder Bruna Vilamala believes that Dario Vidosicâs style of play has similarities with her parent club, Barcelona.
The 22-year-old Spain international is on a season-long loan with Albion and was named in the starting 11 for our opening day 4-0 win over Everton in the WSL.
âDario likes a lot of the way Barca play,â Bruna said. âTo have a lot of the ball and to keep playing, having long possessions and I like that. I'm used to playing like that.
âWe play with number tens, so itâs similar to how I played in Barca.
Dario Vidosic has earned the trust of the women's first team, according to Vilamala. đˇ by Kyle Hemsley.
âI think because itâs clear how much he loves football it's so easy to trust him. He really trusts us and he really loves what he does.â
Thatâs not where the Barcelona link ends either, with Bruna having played alongside Vicky Losada for the Catalan club.
The womenâs team captain played her part in bringing Bruna to the club.
âI played with her for one year at Barcelona and it's nice because I can speak Spanish with her and Jorelyn [Carabali]. It's good to have other people who speak Spanish. Vicky can translate some things for me which is important.

âI know her, I have played with her, so I know how she plays and it's made it easier for me having her here.
âShe also told me it's the best city to live in in England! She also said the facilities of the club are amazing and having been here for a little while I can say that's true!
âVicky told me that Brighton want to be a better team. I like the goals that the club and the team have. So it was easy to make the decision to come here.â
