Jack Hinshelwood believes that togetherness has been the key to the team’s recent good form.
The 2-1 victory over Liverpool was Albion’s fourth victory in five games and demonstrated all the qualities that have given the players the belief that European football is a possibility.
“We all play for each other and we go to war for each other out there,” he said. “You know that if one person's going into a tackle, if you slightly miss it, there's going to be another one there to back you up.
"The team spirit at the minute is probably at an all-time high. If we can keep that up for the end of the season, I'm sure we're going to get a lot more positive results.

“I think it's come from everyone – the manager, his staff, the players, everyone in the building who plays a small part in this journey.
"If everyone's pulling in the right direction, which we have been, then things like this happen and we go on good runs and put performances in like that to get good results.”
Even though the starting eleven was unchanged from the win at Sunderland, the strength of the bench against the reigning champions shows that competition for places is keeping everyone in the squad on their toes.
“It's about getting your chance and holding on to your shirt at the end of the day,” Jack said. “I've been lucky to do that the last few games. I'm working hard every day in training and in games to keep hold of my shirt.

"I think the more competition, the better for the team. If everyone's fighting every day for their shirt, then that only brings a healthy working environment.”
Jack made a major contribution to the win with a lung-bursting run to get on the end of Yankuba Minteh’s cross and set Danny Welbeck up for the winner.
“As soon as the ball was spread to Minteh, I know what he likes to do,” Jack said. “He likes to go on his left and put early crosses in, so I was able to start my move early. I got ahead of van Dijk, and saw Welbz was alongside me. I squared it to him and it was a good finish.
“Thankfully, it was onside. I was a bit worried because when I passed it to him, I thought it was slightly ahead. But no, it was a massive relief when it went in and it was a massive goal in getting the 2-1 win today.

“I've loved every second of playing with Welbz, to be honest. We have a good understanding of each other and I know he's always there.
"He deserved his two goals today, just from the work he did, let alone the stuff he does with the ball. So I'm delighted for him.”
As well as the assist, Jack made his usual energetic contribution to the team’s press, “just bringing an intensity to the game and making it not nice to play against us. I think me and Welbz did that very well.
"We made the game tough for them and limited them really to not many chances. I thought we di our job very well and we were obviously a threat on the counter-attack.
“It was a free-flowing, high-quality game. I'm sure the fans enjoyed watching that today, the ball in play for a lot of time. Two teams that wanted to play football today and we were able to play our game.”
