Adam Webster believes moving to Ipswich Town early in his career played a pivotal role in helping him get to the Premier League.
The centre-back made the move from Portsmouth to Portman Road in 2016, making 54 appearances for the Tractor Boys before departing for Bristol City after two seasons.
Ahead of Albion's return in the Premier League tonight, Webster said: “I had a great time. I spent two years there and it was my first proper move away from home so it's got special memories for me and my wife.

“It’s a great club with great people. I've only been back once, when I was at Bristol City, so it'll be nice to go back again. I always enjoyed playing there.”
Adam got a brief taste of second-tier football at the beginning of his career with Pompey, but it was under Mick McCarthy at Ipswich where he played regularly and flourished.
“It was my first real time playing in the Championship week in, week out and I had to learn the game. Mick McCarthy signed me and he was probably the best man to help with that education. He was really influential for me.

“It was an important time in my career because the Championship is relentless and it was tough, but I really enjoyed it. I'm really thankful for the opportunity that they gave me.
“They brought me out of League Two. I'm happy that I got to take that step and it was really important in my career.”
The defender isn’t letting nostalgia get in the way of his hopes for three points on Thursday.

“We've been performing pretty well, but maybe not quite getting over the line. We knew we had to play well against Norwich in the FA Cup on Saturday," he added.
“We wanted to start this run of away games well and obviously we want to go on a Cup run and see how far we can go.”
