Fabian Hurzeler was delighted for Georginio Rutter after he scored his first goal of the season to earn Albion a point against West Ham.
Rutter equalised in the first minute of stoppage time in the 1-1 draw after Jarrod Bowen had put West Ham in front midway through the second half.
Hurzeler said, “He deserved it and we are quite happy that he is now on the sheet which will give him a boost for the next game.
“Overall, it was a disappointing result. We wanted more but didn’t deserve more, especially after the first-half performance.

"We didn’t have energy or intensity – there were no connections. We started playing football after we conceded a goal. The reaction to conceding was good but overall, we can’t be happy.
“Their goal was definitely avoidable. It came from our mistake so it’s disappointing.”
Babis Kostoulas made a lively contribution as a second half substitute and was praised by Hurzeler. “He showed things that he is showing more in training in terms of finding good solutions in narrow spaces, having creativity and making things happen for us. Overall, he is pushing and could play even more minutes for us.”
