Fabian Hurzeler thought Albion were unlucky not to take something off leaders Arsenal at the Amex.
Bukayo Saka’s first-half goal earned Arsenal a 1-0 win that stretched their lead at the top to seven points after Manchester City were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest.
Hurzeler said, “We had two or three big chances, but we just didn't finish the attack. I think that was the only thing that we missed today.
“We created a lot of chances and we didn't give away a lot of chances. I think that Arsenal had one shot on goal and apart from that there was nothing. So, overall it was a good performance and a really good effort from my team.
“We are very disappointed about the result but it's very hard to score against Arsenal defensively.

“I think we found a lot of solutions against them and we created a lot. We weren't that clean in the final third. When we are cleaner, calmer in the final third we could create more.
The last pass, the last touch, how we attack the box… I think that we can still do better, but I think we had enough chance to win the game.”
Hurzeler said that Kaoru Mitoma came off with an ankle injury at the break which will need a scan, but he added that it was a ‘minor issue.’
