Jason Steele has been called up to the England squad for their upcoming matches against Uruguay and Japan.
The 35-year-old has previously represented the Three Lions up to Under-21 level.
Thomas Tuchel’s team will play both their upcoming friendlies at Wembley, with the match against Uruguay taking place on Friday 27 March, kick-off 7.45pm.
Kaoru Mitoma’s Japan then head to the capital on Tuesday 31 March, kick-off 7.45pm.
Meanwhile, James Beadle - on a season-long loan with Birmingham City - and Jack Hinshelwood have been called up by England Under-21s.
They will start the March international window with a trip to play Andorra on Friday 27 March, 6.30pm kick-off, at the Estadi National in Andorra la Vella.
Following that game, they return to home soil for their second game against Moldova on Tuesday 31 March 2026, 7pm kick-off, at Norwich City’s Carrow Road.
In the younger age groups, Tommy Watson has been named in the England Under-20 squad, while Freddie Simmonds and Harry Howell are in the England Under-18 squad.
