Key dates for 2025/26 WSL season confirmed

The 2025-26 WSL season starts on 6-7 September.
The key dates for both the 2025-26 Womenâs Super League and Championship have been confirmed.
Following this summerâs UEFA Womenâs European Championships in Switzerland, both divisions will get underway across the weekend of 6-7 September 2025. The WSL concludes on 16-17 May.
The winter break will start on 22 December with league fixtures returning on 10-11 January.
Additionally, the SubwayÂŽ Womenâs League Cup group stages will begin in late September and run until mid-November, with the quarter finals scheduled for 20-21 December, semi-finals across 21-22 January and the final due to be contested on the weekend of 14-15 March.
Details for the Adobe Womenâs FA Cup will be confirmed in due course by The Football Association.
