Joao Pedro is happy to play any role for Albion to help keep the good start to the season going.
The Brazil international grabbed a stoppage-time winner against Manchester United which made it two wins from our opening two Premier League games for the second successive season.
Joao’s first of the campaign in the 2-1 came after a tactical tweak by Fabian Hurzeler.
“In the first half I played more in midfield and in the second half I played like a No9 with Danny [Welbeck] a bit wider. The gaffer always work with me on my positioning," said Joao.
“When I’m not a nine and more like a nine-and-a-half I move, I run in behind and I can come back to defend. This makes it easier for our team and difficult for defenders. For the goal we work on things like that a lot, on those balls [being delivered] and being ready at the right moment.
“We’re working a lot on our movement under the new coach. And if we do everything right we’re going to win more games, and we all try to do our best for the team.”
Albion go to last season's runners-up Arsenal next Saturday in a game between two teams with back to back wins at the start of the campaign. “It’s a great start but it’s just the beginning of the season,” added Joao. “We need to keep working hard in every game.”
