Fabian Hurzeler believes it’s important not to rush Solly March’s return to Premier League action.
March hasn’t played since October 2023 after undergoing knee surgery but he is back in full training.
Hurzeler said, “Solly said to me yesterday, ‘Gaffer, I'm ready.’ He wants to play but I think it's important that we calm him down, that we give him the time to really be prepared for a Premier League game.
“I think after this long time it's very helpful that we go step by step, that we don't make two steps at one time and make sure he is fully ready for the intensity of the Premier League.
“I'm sure that that he will improve fast and let's see if this will be before Christmas or after Christmas. I think it's very important that we that we don't rush him, and we don't put pressure on him.”
