Head coach Fabian Hurzeler has led the tributes to Solly March, who will leave the club when his contract expires after 300 games over 13 seasons for Albion.
Fabian said, “ I want to pay tribute to Solly March. Solly was an unbelievable player for Brighton. He created a lot of great moments in the history of Brighton.
“He's a Brighton boy, and therefore I really want to say thank you for his achievements and his efforts for this club.
“We want to wish you all the best for your future. Stay like you are: a great person and a great character. All the best to you Solly and your family. The Brighton family will never forget you.”
One of our longest-serving players, Solly made his debut in August 2013 when Albion were in the Championship and when he came off the bench against Manchester United on Sunday it was to make his 300th appearance for Albion.
He also scored 26 goals for the club and played a pivotal role in helping Albion reach and then establish themselves in the Premier League and qualify for the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League in our first season of European competition in 2023/24.
Solly has penned an open letter to the Albion fans which you can read here.
