Fabian Hurzeler was frustrated after Albion’s 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth on Saturday.
Kaoru Mitoma headed his team level early in the second half, but Antoine Semenyo won it with a penalty on the hour after Alex Scott gave the hosts a half-time lead.
To compound Albion’s disappointment, Jack Hinshelwood (ankle) and Maxin De Cuyper (knee) went off with injuries in the first 25 minutes.
“It is frustrating, but we have to keep on pushing and come back,” said Hurzeler. “I thought the overall performance was good and I liked how we reacted to the two injuries.
“It wasn’t a brilliant start [with the injury to Jack Hinshelwood] but we reacted well. We then had another injury – we faced a lot of adversity today - but my team proved in several phases that they can react well.

“The De Cuyper injury was annoying because we conceded a goal with ten men. When you see the video of the incident there is no need to discuss it anymore, but we have to accept it.”
Hurzeler agreed that Albion looked the more likely winners after Mitoma’s 48th-minute header made it 1-1.
“We controlled the start of the second half and then made the wrong decisions and they scored the penalty,” he added.
“At 2-1 we tried everything. To come back twice is not easy but I saw effort and that we tried hard. In the end we didn’t get the rewards so we have to stick together and find solutions like we always do.”
