Harry Howell has signed a new contract and joined League One Leicester City on a season-long loan.
The 18-year-old’s new deal runs until June 2029 and will link up with the Foxes, who have also taken Tommy Watson on loan for the campaign.
Sporting director Mike Cave said, “Harry has had good exposure to the first-team environment over the last 12 months and this loan gives him the opportunity to build on that further with regular senior football.
“We are very excited by Harry’s potential and look forward to seeing him continue to progress over the coming year.”
The winger joined Albion aged seven and progressed through the academy before making his Premier League debut in our 2-1 win over Liverpool in May 2025.
He has since gone on to make seven first-team appearances, scoring his first goal for the club in an EFL Cup win against Barnsley last season.
Harry has also represented England at youth level, most recently when he made his debut for the under-19s in March.
