BA Euroflyer, the London Gatwick based subsidiary of British Airways, in partnership with Brighton & Hove Albion, was proud to support Georgie and her children, Jackson and Maddison, with a truly memorable experience.
Georgie is a single mum and a Foundation coach, with both of her children regularly involved in Foundation programmes.
Jackson, who has ASD, has grown enormously in confidence since joining three years ago, now feeling valued, included and confident on the pitch. Inspired by her brother, Maddison joined just over a year ago and has developed hugely playing alongside other people with ADHD, now thriving within sessions and even aspiring to become a coach herself one day.
British Airways kindly donated a visit to the club’s American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, where the family enjoyed a behind-the-scenes facilities tour, met men’s first team players and received signed shirts to mark the occasion.
To make the experience even more special, British Airways also generously provided a tailored trip, in partnership with British Airways Holidays, designed to meet the family’s accessibility needs and give them a once-in-a-lifetime holiday together.
Phil Broom, disability football manager at Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation said, “I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving to be given this experience than Georgie and her family.

“Georgie works so hard and is an example to everyone at the Foundation. She and her children are wonderful people, I hope they really enjoy their trip and have a well-earned rest.”
Georgie and her children were overwhelmed by the experience, “A heartfelt thank you for such a special and memorable afternoon.
“It honestly meant so much to me and the kids, we feel incredibly lucky and so grateful to everyone at British Airways and Brighton & Hove Albion for their kindness and generosity. It really made a lasting impression on us. Thank you again, we’ll never forget it!”
Karen Hilton, managing director of BA Euroflyer and Gatwick Ground Services, said, “Working in partnership with Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, we were proud to support Georgie, Jackson and Maddison with a memorable experience. Seeing the confidence and inclusion the Foundation creates for local families is incredibly special, and we’re delighted to have played a small part in that journey.”
A truly well-deserved experience for an inspiring family.
