Albion and our stadium catering partners Sodexo Live! have been nominated in five categories for The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2025. This will be the 18th annual awards event organised by Stadium Experience.
The prestigious event recognises the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events teams at football, rugby and cricket stadiums across the UK. There will be 15 different categories and 45 awards presented.
Albion and Sodexo Live! have been nominated in the following categories:
Above & Beyond Recognition Award - Julie-Ann Buxton-Beales
This award recognises those individuals or teams who are simply outstanding at what they do and continuously shine. This can be something as part of their regular duties or perhaps focusing on supporting the local community or businesses recover from challenging times.
Julie-Ann joined the Sodexo Live! team in March 2023 with little experience in the events industry, yet in just two years she has become an invaluable team member, consistently going above and beyond her role. Her dedication, teamwork and exceptional customer service has had a profound impact on both colleagues and clients.
Julie-Ann’s ability to uplift team morale is another testament to her character. She ensures that everyone feels supported and engaged. Julie-Ann is not just an asset to the Sodexo Live! team — she is an inspiration, embodying the highest standards of excellence and service.
Best Retail Catering Award
This award recognises the best retail catering teams at stadia across the UK. This team will demonstrate commercial growth, high quality food offerings or proactive sustainability improvements.
Visiting Football Directors Award
The Visiting Directors Award categories are voted for by directors at each club. They are asked to nominate the club where they had the best away experience. They are specifically asked to consider the welcome, service and catering when casting their votes. There will be an award for both rugby and football venues.
Matchday Hospitality Award - Large Stadium; Overall Matchday Hospitality Award
This award pitches all sized clubs against all, with the winner offering the very best matchday hospitality experience.
The awards will take place at The Amex on Thursday 3 July when around 400 guests from more than 70 clubs will experience fine dining and the awards ceremony followed by an exclusive onsite after party.
