Albion fan Julian Cash won the men’s double title at Wimbledon on Saturday, alongside partner Lloyd Glasspool.

The pair made history, becoming the first all-British team to win the title at Wimbledon for 89 years.

Australian Rinky Hijikata and Dutchman David Pel were their opponents, as they beat them 6-2 7-6 (7-3).

Speaking after the game, Cash said, "We had two goals this year - one was to make it to Turin [ATP Finals] and the other was to win a Slam. To do it here, it couldn't mean more.

"We have played a crazy amount of tennis on the grass. There was a lot of pressure on our shoulders. The fact we could do what everyone said we could is surreal."

Pat Hughes and Raymond Tuckey were the last all-British pair to win the title at Wimbledon in 1936.
