To celebrate Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, we're running our very own poetry competition that will showcase the incredible talent that lies within our fanbase and shine a light on how welcoming the football community can be.
We're encouraging entries from everyone and selected submissions will be featured in a BHAFC poetry book that the club is commissioning to go into local libraries. So if you think you've got what it takes to write a meaningful, bold and positive poem, please enter our competition now.
If you think you need some inspiration, here's some words to inspire you: Celebrate, Equal, Fair, Respect, Proud, Ally, Love, Together, Voice, Community, Strength, Inclusion, Future.
As well as the poetry book, entries from under-17s will be in with a chance of having their poem read out and heard pre-match and at half-time at either our Premier League and Women's Super League LGBTQ+ inclusion matchdays, along with 1x Under-18 and 1x Adult match tickets worth a minimum of £25.
Submit your poem now.
Terms and conditions apply. Submissions open from Monday 15 September (09:00GMT) and closes Friday 14 November (17:00GMT). Entrants must be aged 17 or under to win 1x Under-18 and 1x Adult match tickets worth a minimum of £25. Full T&Cs can be found here.
