Despite a bounce-back performance against West Ham after Sunday's 3-0 defeat at Leicester City, Albion's Conti Cup journey came to an end following a 0-0 draw which saw the East London side progress to the quarter-finals as group winners with Albion finishing second.
Albion did win the penally shoot-out for the bonus point 3-0 after Megan Walsh saved all three West Ham spot-kicks.
Zigiotti captained the team and expressed her pride ias they showcased a positive performance.
"I think we bounced back well from our game against Leicester, we played a good game and were the better team and deserved to win," she said.
"I know we won on penalties and that unfortunately doesn't take us anywhere, but I'm really proud of the team tonight."

The midfielder recognised the challenges that the squad have faced in the first half of the season but believes the team can build on this momentum as they prepare for Arsenal's visit in the WSL on Sunday.
She added, "It's been a hard season and we have not had as many wins as we would want. It was important to bounce back [after Sunday] and hopefully we can build on this and continue.
"Jens [Scheuer] has pushed us to be more aggressive and I think all the girls out there and on the bench showed that tonight.
"We want to build on this and hopefully we can get some points at the weekend."
