Ben White made his first international start for England in a 1-0 friendly win over Romania on Sunday afternoon.
The 23-year-old made his debut for his country on Wednesday against Austria, coming off the bench with 15 minutes to play and clearing off the line late on to ensure England secured a 1-0 victory.
The centre-back was rewarded by Gareth Southgate with a first full 90 minutes for his country, keeping a Romania attack quiet, with his performance gaining plaudits from pundits and supporters, as he was shortlisted for the Man of the Match award.
Southgate's team begin their EURO 2020 campaign on Sunday next week, as they face Croatia.
