The Seagulls centre-back has netted three times this season and spoke about the work that has been happening on the training pitch from free kicks.
He said, âIâve surprised myself a bit, as Iâve already got three goals, and I only managed three in the whole of last season.
âItâs probably a bit different in the Premier League, where teams are a bit more zonal, whereas in the Championship you come up against man marking a bit more.
âWe practise set pieces every week before a game, and we always look to see where their weakness lies. The deliveries we have in the team with Aaron [Mooy] and Pascal [Gross] always helps and makes our jobs easier. Youâve got to get into the right areas, and hopefully stick them away.
âIâm enjoying playing at the moment. Itâs not been a straightforward process, as we have difficult games each week, and itâs all about how you can deal with the opposition. Iâm just looking to improve in each game.â

Webster also spoke about the way he has had to overcome setbacks this season, and praised the support from Graham Potter following a below-par display against Sheffield United last month.
âI didnât play well against Sheffield United, but you canât dwell on it because Tottenham was up next. You have to put a bad performance behind you, and you need a strong mentality to come out the other side.
âYou donât become a bad player overnight and he [Graham Potter] knows that. He gave me the confidence to go out there and play my normal game.
âThatâs what I did, and hopefully I can continue to build on that in the upcoming games.â

The former Bristol City man assessed the differences he has experienced from playing in the Championship as opposed to the Premier League, and commented on how little the margin for error is in the top flight.
âWhat strikes you is just how much quality there is in each team. If you switch off for a split second, then you will get punished.
âYou need to maintain your concentration levels, because every team has different strengths, and you have to constantly change your approach to each game.
âIn the Championship, you generally stick to do what you do best, and the threats arenât as big as they are in the Premier League.â
