Simon Rusk’s men were 2-1 winners over Blackburn Rovers seven days ago, as goals from Peter Gwargis and Danny Cashman sealed an impressive comeback victory at the Leyland County Ground.
It was a third goal in as many games for Swedish midfielder Gwargis after goals against Wolves and Arsenal last month, and the result means Albion sit fifth in the table ahead of tonight’s match.
Tonight’s opposition come into the game off the back of an impressive 5-1 win over Wolves, and lie in third place ahead of this evening’s contest – three points ahead of Rusk’s men.
