Albion can’t qualify for the knockout stages after last month’s 0-0 draw against Valencia and a 3-2 defeat against West Ham United, but they will relish facing top-class European opposition again.
Simon Rusk’s side fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Leicester City in their last Premier League 2 fixture a fortnight ago, but they did progress in the Sussex Senior Cup last Wednesday with a 4-2 win over Burgess Hill Town when Bojan Radulovic scored twice.
Wolfsburg have won both of their games thanks to a 4-0 win over Valencia and a 3-2 victory against West Ham United, but need a point from their final match to top the group.
